It's official! Troy and I are engaged. That's only like the third time I've said that out load! AHHH =] It still doesn't feel real yet, but I'm sure it will in the next few weeks when I get down to planning. Troy is hoping for an October wedding... as in 4 months away. Uhhh is that even possible?! All my married girls out there, if you have any advice for wedding planning, send it my way! 

So I thought I would share our little proposal story since I didn't share many details on instagram about it. Thank you all SOO SOO much for all the well wishes and the blessings you sent our way. =] It means SO much! 

Let me start by saying that I had a feeling it was coming. We had been talking about finally getting married for a while and we had discussed what an ideal wedding would be like, how many people would be there, where each of us would like to get married, and of course what style engagement ring I loved. lol So, I was aware that in the coming months that it was bound to happen, we have known each other for over 10 years, we have a child together and DUH, we love each other! 

So here's how it went down... 

We go to the gym in the morning, like we always do, nothing out of the ordinary, but when we get home he tells me that he has to go do something... Of course, I ask what he has to do, can we come? lol He said, "No i just have to do a couple things for this weekend." This weekend is Father's Day, we're going out of town, but I was completely confused because I'm supposed to being doing sneaky surprises behind his back because... It's Father's Day! So he returns from his "errands" and he's acting extremely strange, quiet, awkward, nervous and weird. I still was unsuspecting. As I'm making lunch for Logan, he walks out of the bedroom with his hand tucked behind his back  and this deer-in-the-headlights look, and it was that point that I realized what was about to happen. Then he casually, in the kitchen, got down on his knee, teary-eyed and all and told me lots of googly, la la things and asks me to marry him. As he's doing all this Logan is kneeled down next to him, munching on her apples. =] hahah nothing crazy romantic, just perfect!
