I think Sunday is my favorite day of the week. For us, it's a family day. We start by sleeping in, then we make breakfast together and then snuggles with a movie on the couch follow.
This last Sunday we swam at my mom's house and ate a delicious dinner with rosemary garlic pork roast, with cilantro line corn, and red potatoes (recipe here). I'm vegetarian (or pescatarian) so I ate the corn, potatoes and made a ahi tuna steak for myself. =]
I'm really into one-piece swimsuits right now. I was so against them at first but then I tried one on and I'm hooked. The low back styles are my favorite, because they're much less boxy than the original one-piece from the 890's and 90's.
After dinner we usually play a game. One of our favorites right now is MadGab, but our traditional go-to is Taboo and Phase10.
My family had just a few traditions growing up and I'd love to incorporate more into my family. I'd love to know what some of your favorite family traditions are.
