GROW + REPAIR | AT-HOME HAIR TREATMENT
Over the last few years my hair has slowly gotten more and more damaged. It seems like it won’t grow as long as it used to, it’s frizzier than normal and overall dry. My hair girl suggested a hair mask to mend split ends, stimulate growth and replenish moisture. When she suggested using Monistat on my hair I thought she was joking but people swear by it for stimulating new hair growth which is much needed after this last pregnancy.
-3 TBS melted coconut oil
-1 tube of Monistat
-1 raw egg
-3 TBS honey
Melt your coconut oil, not too hot or your egg will cook, then whisk in the honey and Monistat until dissolved. I usually have to do a little mashing to get the Monistat to mix in all the way. Then whisk in the egg and use your hands to apply all over your hair and scalp. Your scalp is key if you’re wanting new hair growth. The coconut oil is a natural anti fungal so it will clear out the pores on your scalp and the miconazole nitrate in the Monistat promotes hair growth. Leave this on your hair for 15-20 minutes then rinse and shampoo and condition like normal.
