Healthy Balance
Have you ever stopped at the gym on your way home from work and felt sooo guilty for not spending that time with your kiddo or significant other? Me too! But it's normal and there's a completely logical solution.
I get so many questions about balancing out life. How do I fit in exercise after working a full time job, on top of making sure your kiddos and hubby are properly cared for. It's such a debatable topic and everyone has something different to say about it, so take from this what you want; my feelings won't be hurt. It's hard to say with is best for you and your family, but I can say what is best for mine.
Have you ever heard that old saying about ditch therapy, it starts with you? I honestly feel like if you're doing what's best for yourself, you're doing what's best for you family. Because if your getting everything you need to be well rounded and balanced, you'll be able to give your kids the patience and attention that they're needing.
Obviously, I still have my days, where I'm just completely exhausted and I can't find it in me to get my butt in the garage to workout. But when I'm feeling guilty that I'm not playing with Logan during the time I'm working out, I have to remind myself "What's best for me, is best for Logan". It just is! =]
This is just one more thing you can scratch off your list to becoming the best you possible! Have an amazing day!
